Yep. It’s expensive. If you are looking at this grill, you are probably comparing it to the Big Green Egg, or similar ceramic products. I have owned a Primo XL ceramic, and a BGE so I can make the comparison.Ceramic grills are awesome, and this unit is no better than an Egg or Primo. That being said, this is a great all around unit.For direct cooking, it’s comparable to the Primo and better than a BGE.
