Big Winner This is definitely a counter space hog and I have found storage challenging – that is the down side. The upside for this work horse is that it is super easy to operate, uses far less oil than other turkey fryers, can also steam large quantities of food, and has a broad surface area making it large enough to fry your own luscious donuts at home! So easy to use once you figure out the importance of properly trussing your bird… I fried a large chicken right out of the box and it was DELICIOUS! Then I did our 16 pound Thanksgiving turkey and it was the best Ii have ever done. And I have been really fortunate with my Thanksgiving turkeys which I usually brine and slow roast on the bar-b-que. Using this fryer I dry brined over night and it easily was more moist than previous year’s birds, I barely had any leftovers!
