Thicker does not mean better. We tested multiple thicknesses before developing our mats. Our grill mat is thin enough to leave grill marks and flavor intact,yet thick enough to provide ultimate heat resistance and durability.
How to use
1. Use scissors to cut the barbecue mat to the desired size and shape.
2. Place it on a pot, plate or other container
3. Put the food on the mat.
4. After the food is cooked, wait for cooling, then remove the barbecue mat and wash with detergent.
5. Barbecue mat can be reused more times.
Notice
Grill mats cannot be in contact with an open flame and need to be far enough above an open heat source that they aren’t exposed to temperatures above 500℉. This is not a shortcoming of the product. Limit of 500℉ degrees as specified by the FDA for all nonstick cookware. Otherwise grill mats will disintegrate and burned out at higher temperatures (626℉). The Chef recommends barbecuing between 300℉ and 400℉.

I cannot believe I have been grilling for 40 years and never used one of these.. I love it. Food cooks just the same as laying on grill with no clean up of grill. A couple of notes though- If you have too much food on it, grease will run over in grill and also, just like the grill, food will burn and stick to it but is still easy to clean in sink with just soap and water. Received the Mats just as described. I used them for the first time on Super Bowl Sunday for grilling pork ribs and they worked like a charm. I usually have to really keep an eye on the food because of fire caused by grease dripping and I didn’t have that type of issue this year. I would highly recommend getting these mats. I primarily purchased them to use camping this year because I do not out the food directly on the grates of the campsite grills and I thought these mats would be a better…
