Install is only half way explained. I like how this looks on my F-150 special sport package version, don’t get me wrong on my stars rating. However, the grill of my truck is different in its openings. While installing this I actually want to put it on the first top row, guess what, the bracket that comes with this doesn’t allowed you to get there because is too short. then the second row is close with plastic as part of the design of this package. I love the look of the Raptor Lights and was very happy to see that these came out. I own a 2015 FX4 Sport XLT so I have the grill that is the pain to hook up. When i say pain you have to flip the brackets around and wire them to the drivers side and not over by the battery like every other grill so make a note of that, and in the directions it will tell you the color wire to tap into for the drivers side version.I had a problem using the stock clips to hook the bracket back so i used a…
They are there and function; however, they definitely don’t fit XLT Sport grills and I am upset that I didn’t read some reviews before buying. You can still mount them normally, but they won’t be in the highest slot of the grill; they will be in the 2nd row to the top. Not a terrible difference, but now I have to go back and get bolts/washers to change the mount and do it all over again to get the light where they should.
