Very heavy gauge stainless steel which I’m sure will last much longer than Weber’s aluminum basket but it is a good deal smaller as seen in the included photo
“New” size matches Weber original exactly. This is more or less a review to address some other reviews and questions about the size of this basket compared to the original that comes with the Weber grill. This is based on my purchase in March 2019, so this is the “New Larger Design” version.You can see from the picture I have attached that the length is identical, and I hope you can tell that the way the ruler lies flat that they are also exactly the same height.Using the ruler, the original measures 1/4 inch…
Same Size as the Weber Basket, Appears better material This appears to be made with a better material than the Weber baskets. I was anticipating a larger basket than the Weber one but these are almost identical in size. So feel a little mislead by their “New Larger Design” description. I guess they’re comparing it to their own earlier design units. I was looking for larger baskets than what I currently have for more grilling surface area. These don’t give me that. So I will likely return this. As I mentioned these are appear to be better…
