Don’t every buy a small cannister again. Like most, I read SO many reviews prior to ordering this. But now that I have used it, here is my take: it works great! I wanted to refill the small containers because I wanted portability for my heater. Portability is not so great with a 20lb propane tank. The advice that other reviewers give is spot on. Wish I’d gotten this sooner… Very easy to use and fills 1lb bottles quickly. I used a food scale and found bottle tare was about 15oz and came up to about 31oz when full. I found it helpful to use a small curved needle nose pliers to pull open the relief valve during filling. Keep valve up at the top and watch for slight liquid spray then you’re done. I didn’t need to freeze bottles or do any of that… Filling a bottle without opening the relief valve gets it about half full so if your concerned about overfilling…
