Canmeleon Outdoor/Indoor Recessed Panel Trash Can with Ash Urn blends decorative fluted panels with a built-in stainless steel ashtray to help enhance outdoor areas while keeping them clean and litter free. Molded from high-density polyethylene with UV inhibitors, this waste container performs well in both outdoor and indoor conditions. Telescoping base hides liner bag and includes a recessed bottom for easy maintenance. Covered dome features four 9 1/2″W x 4 1/2″H openings that let you discard waste without touching the lid, which may help reduce the spread of germs. For weather resistance and to help prevent vandalism, the bottom of the weather-resistant trash container can be fastened to the pavement or weighted with sand or paving bricks. Tall Kitchen bags DO work! Making it nearly perfect! I had asked before ordering if it took tall kitchen garbage bags. Folks said no…I ordered it anyway (thinking I’d just have to get different sized bags for it)… When it arrived today I went ahead and tried tall kitchen – and THEY DO FIT. To clarify, I wasn’t as concerned about if the bag goes all the way to the bottom (I think it actually does that too, put I put a brick in there to weight it down anyway). My concern was it fitting around the top and securing… and a tall kitchen bag DOES…
Perfect for patio litter! Exactly what I wanted for our patio. Somewhere for garbage and cigarette butts so people won’t litter. Looks nice and not tacky or stupid. Not gross like those big old metal outside ash trays. No assembly, came nicely packaged, just had to slip the top on. Was thinking of weighting it down with a couple rocks under the trash liner, just in case. But the weight seems to be decent enough that just a windy day isn’t going to upset it. We get some nasty straightline winds, so don’t want it to blow…
