This grill cover is constructed of heavy duty black polyester with PVC backing and elastic shock cord. Designed to fit the Lodge Sportsman’s Grill hibachi style charcoal grill.This waterproof, custom-sized cover stretches to fit over the 19-by-10-by-8-inch Lodge Sportsman’s grill, a hibachi-style grill made of heavy cast iron with legs. Since the grill is a little heavy to haul inside and back out to the patio for every barbecue party, this cover allows the grill to stay outdoors protected from rain and rust. Handy for camping trips too, when rain is in the forecast, the cover is made of heavy-duty black polyester, textured on the outside and lined with smooth PVC. Lodge Sportsman’s Grill Cover This cover is the perfect compliment to my Lodge grill and is more than large enough to fit comfortably with plenty of extra room. It will help protect the grill between uses. The only Con I can think of would be the material is not rugged enough to be left outside in an overly exposed area. I would recommend that when covered the grill be placed out of the direct weather and sunlight – perhaps under the eave of your home on under a covered patio or porch. This cover is not made of…
Fit way too snug – returned After reading some of the reviews regarding fit I was skeptical of the purchase. My decision was to go for it since it was made by the manufacturer specifically for the Grill. It’s a perfect fit. Tight to go on, and it took both hands and a foot to stretch it over the handles but it fit perfectly. The wire handle needed to be removed and I suspect after some uses the elastic will stretch & become easier over time.Follow up: Legs up on the cooking grate before putting the cover…
