The original grates and heat plate were worn out. I opted for a set of stainless steel grates to replace the porcelain coated cast iron and these heat plates. I have a Kenmore grill and these heat plates were just a little too long, maybe 1/8″ to 1/4″ but with a little persuasion were bale to be forced into position.
