Disappointed… This product is “ok,” but, but it does not perform exactly as advertised. The television advertisement says that it is dishwasher safe. According to the package instructions it is not. Additionally, while it is non-stick and the top surface wipes off easily, you have to spend a good deal of time wiping between the grates and on the non-coated bottom to get all of the food residue off. Heat inconsistent, not as easy to clean as they think! I was so excited to purchase this grill. I grill chicken outside all summer long but Michigan winters aren’t the best for grilling. I purchased this as a cheaper alternative to the Philips Indoor Grill. Unfortunately, my experience with the Gotham Grill left a lot to be desired. The main reason for returning is the inconsistent heat: based on my infrared thermometer, the cooking surface ranges from 560 degrees F at the tip of the heating element to 325 degrees F at the edges of the cooking…
