Super Sturdy and Heats Water Quickly This is a VERY stable and sturdy heavy duty burner. I used it for my 80 QT stock pot to boil wax out of shirts for batik and it worked BEAUTIFULLY! Water started at about 34 degrees F and got to a simmer in about 30-45 minutes in -2F temps. (Yes, really that cold. Such is life in MN.) Heats water faster than Jimmy Johns delivers….(Freaky Deaky Fast) I did not realize how large this thing was until it arrived (cue inappropriate “that’s what she/he said” joke) here. I made a batch of all grain and I had 7 gallons of water heated in no time, with the regulator less than 1/4 on. Product is STURDY. Couple that with heavy iron legs, a 20 psi regulator, and a decent fuel consumption.
