Reasonably-priced starter unit I decided to test this cheaper ($99.99) grill connected to our RV for a while and see if it fits our needs, rather than spending twice or thrice that amount on one of the stainless models.Knowing full well that most things are currently made in China, I’ve learned over a period of several decades not to expect ‘high quality’, so I wasn’t surprised to see the burner mounted at an angle inside the housing. Sweet little BBQ
Per manual, the unit was preset to have tiny bit of yellow flame on high – I get that on Medium setting – on high I get about 1 inch of flame outside of flame deflector – more like a blow torch. You could use high setting to just heat up the unit but then no more than Medium or you will have flames directly under the food burning stuff in no time.The food warmer tray – use metal grinder to cut this thing off!!! If you don’t, you will have only about 4 inches between main grate and warmer…
