Easy to assemble but get an adapter for a 20lb tank In spite of some reviewers complaints about assembly I found that easy to do. Probably took less than 15 minutes. I especially liked the fact that nearly all of the screws were already screwed into the various parts, so no trying to figure out which ones went where. True I did have to unscrew them, fit the pieces together and then put the screws back in but I still liked what they did.Between reviewers complaining about either not enough heat or going through the 1lb tanks too…
I’m giving this 3 stars as the size of this item really didn’t make it useful as a tabletop heater. I got this for my small deck, but It was rather large and likely you’re not going to be able to gather too closely around it. You’re better off just ordering the full size one that won’t be in your way. I returned item & hey Amazon, stop removing people’s reviews! I know I submitted one & it appeared & disappeared later. Assembly was not mind numbingly painful which was a pleasant change. I had it assembled for over a week before the weather in Chicago cooperated enough to try it. It’s a bitch to light. Very hard to tell when it even has ignited so I had to fiddle with it for quite a while before I succeeded. It gives off very little heat when set to high and I honestly don’t see much difference between the low and high setting. You have to be sitting on top of it to feel any heat so the advertised range…
