it is perfect.
Really keeps everything clean and neat. We purchased this receptacle for house guests that smoke. As a courtesy, they smoke outside on our deck, but ashtrays were always smelly and unsightly. This smoker keeps everything out of sight and there is absolutely no lingering smell.My only complaint is that it is not designed to capture ashes as well as butts. Our guests used a small “butt bucket” as an ash tray which they then emptied into the base of the smoker. This was probably a little more hassle for them, but…
