and wow this was stupid. The lights them selves Ok so I’m a diesel machanic, and wow this was stupid. The lights them selves, awesome, nice and bright and dependable. 5 stars on the lights. The wiring, junk, I have a single cab truck and I didn’t even come close to having the length of wire I needed. So I just made a harness for each set. Wiring gets a 0 zero. The controllers, get a 5 stars when they work. The kit has 2 controllers and only one worked the other was junk. So really your gettin what you pay for, “good lights, junk…
Great Idea, but a sad quality & performance disappointment This product is a great idea, however the installation & execution is a different story. The lumination is far too low to be considered for professional use. I am a fire police, requiring serious visibility on an accident scene. The lumination is too low & the quality of the lights themselves, far too delicate, especially the construction of the brackets. This kit would be great for a golf cart, go kart, float, parade,etc. For my purposes, this is a child’s toy & can’t be taken seriously,…
With a little tinkering they are fine I purchased these lights 1 and 1/2 years ago as a cheap way to add emergency lights to my truck (I am a volunteer Firefighter). I was not expecting much for the price, and got pretty much what I expected. They are still functioning after a year and a half, but have never been very bright. I wouldn’t dare mount them on the exterior, and they are supposed to be grille mount. With mine, I fastened two “bars” together and attached suction cups to mount them to the inside of my rear window…
