Connect the quick connect to the gas line from house … The symptom of my problem was that my natural gas grill would not ignite. After investigation I discovered the bearings in the quick disconnected had rotted away and would no longer hold the hose connector properly. The bearings had apparently rusted. The quick disconnect fitting is designed to shut off the gas if there is not a tight connection.So I replaced natural gas connections on my weber genesis sliver C with the DozyAnt kit.
