great alternative to wire I have been looking at these scrapers for a long time. We really wanted to get away from the brush cleaners as they are not safe. We were always seeing wire pieces on our grill. Very bad!! So I ordered this and my husband and I are both very happy with the purchase. It is much bigger than I had expected which is nice because it keeps your hands away from the heat. This works on our charcoal and gas grill as they have the same spacing for the grates.
