Just exactly like the older Bandera from New Braunfels and absolutely no modifications are required The Bandera BBQ was very well known and well respected long before New Braunfels sold out to Charbroil. Great smoker, must mod minimally for best results So I grabbed this beauty for a steal at Walmart (sorry Amazon) for $186. I have been using my gas grill and my cheap kettle for smoking prior to this and found the kettle hard to maintain the temp and the gas just didn’t produce enough smoke even with the smoke chip boxes I purchased.
