welcome to the future, where things are crappier than the past. Mine came with a broken handle and when i try to put the lid handle on the screw just stripped all the threads. Pretty much you can’t tighten the screw if you’re planning to put the handle on. Seems char-broil didn’t hire the right mechanical engineer or the right materials engineer. don’t buy this. you will be disappointed and lose confident in char-broil. I got a much older char-broil charcoal grill that is much quality built then this crap…why are things getting crappier and not better as…
this little grill replaced a similar one I owned for over 20 years. I bought this to take on a week long hunting trip to use daily. Assembly seemed simple enough until I tried to install the handle on the lid. The screws provided did not fit (too small or too short) the pre-threaded holes in the lid handle. In the end I had to use a fork to lift off the lid and had more than one mishap during the week which resulted in much unwanted frustration. The ignition button to light the grill worked for…
