Bought it to use in my machine shop to provide additional direct illumination of precision work pieces in a lathe. While the clamping mechanism is intended for use with a barbecue grill, it did not work on my equipment. I sawed off the clamp and mounted the light in a 12 long flexible arm. Ive had the Kuisiware Grill Light about two weeks and have used it several times. Over the last 10 years or so Ive had several grill lights that either clipped on the handle of the grill or were free standing. All of them had issues and none lasted long. The ones that clipped on the handle typically had small clips that didnt fit well and all broke within months.
