Good value but missing features needed on a charcoal grill This seems to be a gas grill design that was modified to be a charcoal grill. There are neither configurable vents for controlling airflow nor a mechanism for raising/lowering the coals. (I think the description says there is, but there is not.) So, I don’t see how to control the heat other than lid open or lid closed. The “drip pan” looks okay for catching drips (as with a gas grill) but is undersized for catching coal ash. I suspect a lot of ash will find its way down into the…
