I did some research before settling on this particular smoker, and my decision was largely based on a Cookâs Illustrated article where they named this smoker as their winner when comparing it to other stovetop cookers. They based their findings on the moistness of the meat, the style of the lid, the fold-back handles (that stayed cool on the stove), and the ease of cleaning.
