Great design, poor execution. This grill was a great price for all the features it has: adjustable coal height, side shelves, a built-in thermometer, removable ash tray, a warming shelf and a large grilling area. Not surprising for the price, it’s pretty shoddily made, but what was disappointing was how poor the packaging was and how extensively it was damaged upon arrival. Grillin, and chillin We received this today and went to put this together as soon as it came in.The very first problem we noticed was that both of the wheel covers were broken.We aren’t big complainers so,ok,no big deal.As we went on it was just getting worse and worse.The screw things on the side were missing,My Husband had to drill his own holes,and use his own screws to make things fit,and he had to re make holes that were covered by the not so wonderful paint they had applied to this grill.2 1/2 hours later,it…
Like all these things, some fun assembling, plenty of extra nuts and things left over for later. The warming rack didnt work out well, so I took it off, it seemed to block some of the cooking area for me, others may like it. The fold out shelves on each side are awesome, and very useful. I really like how it cooks, it runs a little hotter than my old grill, but the vents are adjustable, also the height of the charcoal rack, which helps during second stage of cooking.
