GREAT gas cooktop & value!! This is basically a no-name brand commercial unit, made with heavy gauge brushed Stainless steel base, powder coated racks, brass gas burners & ignition points. Love it, with one codicil Love it, with one codicil: the grates could be a bit deeper into the center of each burner. That said, pots are stable, and for very small things, such as an espresso pot, there is a ring provided that sits on top of the grates.The big burner brings a teapot full of cold water to a boil in under 5 minutes, as well as nicely searing a steak or pork chops in a frying pan.
